Almond Butter Balsamic Salad Dressing
Almond Butter Balsamic Salad Dressing
This is by far one of my favourite creations using Spreads by Cede almond butter. And a huge shout out goes to @biteofwpg for brewing up such a quick, awesome, delicious dressing that can be used on almost any salad. @biteofwpg has been so instrumental in the growth of Spreads by Cede as she’s used her support of local companies to showcase some awesome recipes using all the flavours of almond butter! Personally I don’t enjoy using a lot of store bought salad dressings because you never know exactly what’s in them and sometimes they have ingredients that you can’t even pronounce. This salad dressing uses only FIVE ingredients, and you likely already have most of them in your pantry. Did I mention it only takes about 2 minutes to make…?
I prefer to use Lucuma Turmeric almond butter for this one, but you can really use any of the flavours and they will all turn out delicious.
Ingredients:
-1 tbsp Spreads by Cede almond butter
-1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
-1 tsp dijon mustard
-1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, I usually don’t add this in but it gives it a nice sweet kick)
-Squeeze of lemon juice
Procedure:
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well until everything is incorporated.
Add a tiny bit of water if you`d like a thinner consistency, and salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle over salad, roasted vegetables, or whatever you think it would taste good on!!
