5 ways to reuse our glass jars.

Hey, Cede here!!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how Spreads by Cede is committed to sustainability and how I personally am constantly thinking about and working towards making this company as green as it can possibly be. That being said, I wanted to put together a little guide on how you can reuse our glass jars since they are SO easy to put to good use. So once you’re almond butter is gone, first of all RUN to the store and get some more (jk… kinda), wash the jar, and repurpose it in any of these ways:

1.      For bulk store purchases – this is my favourite way to reuse our jars. They’re the perfect size for purchasing herbs, spices, teas, or if you just need a small amount of something!

2.      For overnight oats – when there’s only a spoonful of almond butter left if your jar…. Turn it into overnight oats! Click HERE for a recipe.

3.      For general storage – they’re the perfect size for storing anything like bobby pins, paper clips, nails, pencils/pens, Q-tips, make up remover pads, etc. etc. etc.

4.      For drinks – our jars actually make the PERFECT cocktail glass! Or wine, or juice, or milk, or whatever you want! 😊

5.      For food storage – if you’re the type to make your own sauces, dressings, tea blends, elixirs, etc, etc. Our jars are perfect to store these homemade goodies in!

There are endless ways to reuse our glass jars but these are a few common ones that I normally encourage. I strived to make sure the packaging we use could be repurposed or recycled. But don’t limit your uses to what’s listed here! Get creative with your jars, and if you feel like it, share how you reuse them and tag us! As mentioned, I am personally committed to making this company as eco-friendly as possible, and it all starts with simple, small steps like this.
