The easiest granola bars ever

This recipe is so quick, you could literally make these while you’re waiting for your grilled cheese to cook and you’d be done them before it’s ready (that’s what I did).

And like many of the recipes posted on here, you can use whatever flavour you’d like! But our Cacao Maca Almond Butter is truly the most versatile.

What you need:

-1 ¼ cups rolled oats

-1/2 cup sunflower seeds

-1/4 cup dairy free chocolate chips/chunks

-1/3 cup cacao maca almond butter (or flavour of your choice)

-1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

-pinch of salt

What to do:

1.     Mix together the oats, sunflower seeds, and dairy free chocolate chips in a medium mixing bowl.

2.     Whisk together the almond butter, maple syrup, and salt in a small bowl until smooth.

3.     Add to the dry ingredients and mix everything together until it’s all incorporated. (you may have to use your hands for this part to make sure it’s mixed really well)

4.     Grease or line a loaf pan, add the mixture to the pan and press down really well until its all evenly pressed to the bottom of the pan.

5.     Throw in the freezer for about 3-4 hours, then cut into bars.

6.     Enjoy!

Prep time: 5 minutes

Freeze time: 3-4 hours
